American Board of Pediatrics (ABP)


American Board of Pediatrics was founded (ABP) in 1933. It is one of the 24 Council accreditations of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). The ABP is an independent and not-for-profit organization.
In 1933, the American Society of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association and the American Board of Pediatrics established for the purpose of examination and certification for physicians who have extensive knowledge in the field of teething.
